Lute FP Exceptionally good hard rock that crosses into metal. Taking its cues as much from 90s alternative rock bands like Tool, Marilyn Manson, and Jane’s Addiction as it does modern goth rock and industrial, with Portugal’s Stonehag coming to mind specifically.

While the musicianship overall is excellent, the bass playing is exceptional; the androgynous vocals are melodic, heavy, unique and very good, and the songwriting is compelling. This is killer modern heavy music.

Bart Furp Discovered Miscellen through the Black Mandala album. Became instantly obsessed.

Apparently they have NO vinyl releases.

Hint to ANY label looking for killer new bands: sign these jaspers IMMEDIATELY and start pressing vinyl!!!

Mike - Atpharkfall Guys this is really good! I am not a big fan of this kind of music, but looks like I am gonna listen it from time to time
Wish you more good releases
Cheers! Favorite track: Dark Stars in a Bright Sky.

Never knew you when we wished for more We’re both fresh from detentions I missed all your sex for favors You missed my best intentions Never knew you for commitment We’re both close to the streets Falling for a long forever I’ll see you where the suicides meet Never knew you when you cried mercy We’re both free of repressions Missed all of your cheap theatrics You missed my best depressions Never knew you for a martyr We’re both close to defeat Drowning in a Marianas I’ll see you where the suicides meet Never knew you when we fantasized We’re both full of obsessions Missed all your best excuses You missed my best exceptions Never knew you as a sacrifice We’re both just sacks of meat Lost groups of organisms Dispersing at our feet

Starfish 04:09
I’ll go out with the tide till all this is over I can’t even swim with this chip on my shoulder Swallowed up whole, dragged to the depths gladly If I can’t return, the sea can just have me Steady and slow, I lay out like a starfish The weight and the flow, it’s just like I had wished I become attuned, I’m picking up sonar They’re telling me that the trench isn’t too far I’m finally here, the deepest point on Earth Carried by the waves to the place of my rebirth An aphotic world of false lures and true hunters The bones of the lost Marianas has gathered Estrella de mar Estrella de mar

Karada 04:02
She gives off heat Sometimes She gives off light She’s come to leave behind The useless skin of a former life How can you walk away? It just starts with a step How can you breathe again? It just starts when you stop holding your breath Loose minds Tight ropes Unraveling Nice and slow

Safe Word 00:52
Hey there, Cookie The safe word is ‘Brownie’

Life above concrete, hard as stone Grinding our lifetimes down to bone Step on the ledge, Deceptively smooth except at the edge Life above concrete, who decides? Names like numbers, value denied Hidden every dawn Blood on the chessboard cleaned up by pawns Sissy Jupe Jumped through the hoops So high she fell and died Gradgrind said ‘Hell’ So the class did as well Then had to spell for the sweet hereafter

Bone Dry 03:41
Bone dry Skin tight Bleached white Misdemeanors New sheep Dead meat A waste to eat A tamed generation Dry heat Cold blood The fight The fire The flood New chains Same rut The fight The fire The flood
